KATHMANDU, APR 13 - The CPN–Maoist student wing, All Nepal National Independent Students' Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R), has objected to the recent decision of the private and boarding schools to increase the tuition fees by 43 per cent from the coming session.
In a press statement on Monday, the union chairman Suresh Gautam announced protest programmes saying that the District Education Office itself permitted the boarding schools to increase the tuition fees.
The protest programmes include padlocking of accounts and administration sections of selected schools, organising two-hour sit-in in front of the DEO on Wednesday and sit-in protest at the Department of Education on Thursday. RSS
